Family Ties

Kenley has had so many visitors in the 2 weeks that she has been alive! Unfortunately, I haven't been able to snap all her fans, but I was able to capture her with a few of her family members.

 My mom was able to fly out the day after Kenley was born. It was so nice to have her around, and she helped out so much around the house while Mike and I tried to adjust to our household. Between leaving in the middle of the night and the dogs running around the two days I was in the hospital, there was alot going on. Having my mom around also just really gave me a whole new perspective of having a daughter. We loved that Mimi K was able to spend those first few days with Kenley. Now she just needs to bring Papa G back with her the next time they visit.

Aunt Lacey and Uncle Derek also came to visit last week. They are expecting a baby boy, Jackson, in May. We are so excited that Kenley will have a little boy cousin to keep her on her toes. If she ends up anything like me, she will definitely give him a run for his money.

This week, Grandma Shelly and Papa Steve came to visit Kenley. Since they have been in town, we've been able to take Kenley out and about. It's been really nice that Kenley has been able to spend several days with both of her grandparents, although they all live on separate coasts. She won't remember this time, but we will as the exciting first weeks of us being parents.

 We have also had visits from my dad and Denise, Mary and her family, some of my mom's old friends from Kenley St. (purely coincidental!) and even stopped by my museum to visit all of my co-workers. Like I said, more photos to come of everyone...I will get better at that! Gotta capture every minute of this little girl's life! :)
